Wish your wingun revolver could be Useful in a game?

the other day, I was sitting playing with one of my Winguns, wishing that it would give me a reason to use it, but with only 6 shots, a slow reload, and not being accurate enough to really hit much of anything, it resided on my shelf and not in my holster, but I had an Idea! so I pulled apart the shells and started dremelling

my aim was to open up the inner hole so that instead of acting as just the air passage leading to the BB up front, I can just fill the whole shell with BBs (4 BBs, specifically)
the reason for going in from the back is to not damage the retaining ring at the front that holds the BBs in
I found it best to use a pointed dremel as it guides itself straight down the middle so you wont go through the side of the shell, I found a drill difficult to use to do this
you have to go slow, or you'll melt the rubber, but if you do them in big batches, you can dremel one for a few seconds and then just go on to the next one and keep rotating to let them cool down

Finishing touches (I didnt bore out the brass shell at all, it just looks that way)

And with this, my wingun revolvers go from useless novelty toys to super compact shotguns! It also solves the velocity issues, bringing them from 400-450 to 260-320 depending on barrel length
I just got back from gaming my new and improved winguns at Ultimate Airsoft and the results were fantastic, a great spread of BBs as fast as I can pull the trigger!

Video some shots on paper at different distances. Very curious of the spread you get with these.

I had a similar idea when I had my WG revolver, just never got around to doing it... Still working on a completely suppressed one >

Ill try to remember to take some video this weekend
From my experiences at the field from yesterday, the 2"er will sometimes spread up to 2 feet within 20 feet or so and is amazing for clearing rooms, and the 4"er will produce pretty nice groupings out past 30 feet, I'll have to get a 6"er at some point...

well turns out my camera is too terribad to show BBs in flight, nor discern holes in paper from not holes in paper, but from about 25 feet the 4"er had about 9" spread

This makes me wish I didn't sell my WG 2.5"... would have been so much fun for cqb. Might have to pick another one up.

Does the FPS reduction still happen with only 1 BB in the shell? (for chrono purposes)

no, my 4" shoots 460 fps with 1 BB, chrony it with 4 BBs

with 4 BBs my 2" chronies 260ish
4" is 270-280ish,
and the 8" was a bit over 300

Neat solution; I've found my Dan Wesson ASG revolver to be very useful in games, but so far just zombie games and as an "admin gun". There is a mod you can do to bring the velocity down; mine shoots 375fps but I can adjust it to approx 330fps for indoor use.

My friend made a comment after seeing this at UA last night, that went something along the lines of: "in borderlands, you can get a revolver that shoots several bullets at once. Now I've seen it in real life".
