U.S Army 1964

Put the finishing touches to my 1964 impression, including a canvas sling for the M14.

Great non fussy loadout, perfect for a evening game skirmish.

I certainly admire the effort you put into your representations.

that looks awesome but what bugs me that the boots, too shine and full leather, are you not able to find jungle boots?

He did say 1964. Jungle boots weren't common issue yet, and leather was.

As said the Jungle boots were certainly not general issue at the start of the war in 1965. When the U.S Marines and Army first fought in Vietnam it was with bright, shiney leather boots.

A good example is "We were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson. All the Air Cav wear leather boots in this representation of the Battle of La Drang Valley.

Beastor. I've been loving all of these impression you've been posting over the past years, makes me wonder how much money you have to afford this gear!

With that said. I wanna see the closet where all that gear goes. Haha.
