JG AK47 missfeeding (first thread)

I got a upgraded VK47 JG rebrand and it miss feeds like this, 1 strong shot, weaker, weaker, strong, double feed and it repeats. Not all the same cycle but more or less like that. upgrades, m120 spring, shs ak airnozzle and a Military Action 6.03mm Tightbore Barrel. stock hop up unit and bucking made for 300 fps. The thing is that it started when I changed bucking to stock because it ripped. Current Fps 400. What are thoughts on it?

This whole thing is a little unclear because of how you've written it. Can you provide the info more clearly? Perhaps think about what you want to say and then write it out. Don't overlook the importance of a good proof read either. Try putting yourself in the reader's shoes while you're writing it.

What I'm getting is that the whole thing is stock right now except for the spring, the barrel and the nozzel. And you may or may not have put in a different hop rubber at one point but the "upgrade" rubber ripped and you put the stock one back in. And now it misfeeds?

How did the hop rubber rip?

If you've switched bb brands or are using different mags that could be the problem. But it sounds to me like it may be the nozzle. Try putting the stock one back in and see what happens.

sorry, well you got it right for what im trying to say. this what i know its the mag and nozzel. its ether tappet plate or bucking. And how it ripped i dont know.

Sounds like a nozzle->rubber issue or just the hopup rubber. If you aren't sure of the issue or how to fix it, take it to a gundoc and they'll solve your problem fairly quickly I think.

nozzles aren't all the same length even ones made for the same gun... if you are going to work on airsoft guns, a good tool to have is a set of digital calipers to measure stuff like nozzles. A tenth of a mm is enough to ruin your day.

It could also be the bucking is not seated properly after you reinstalled it. Sometimes getting it to sit evenly and round the correct distance in the hopup makes all the difference in feeding.

gundoc whats that and is there one fairly close, i live in Timmins.

It's exactly what it sounds like. Someone who has the experience and knowledge to fix guns well. On ASC we have a seperate tag you can see under our name.
