Anything on 1911 GBB Sidearm

I want to pick up a 1911 style sidearm to go with my future M16 (SAM-R).. Haha I think it's the perfect combo of weapons. So post your best 1911's and experiences with them. Put up pics of your 1911 or ones you like if you want.

For your request for pictures, take a look at the Airsoft Media subforum. You'll find pictures of various 1911 and M16 setups.

Good 1911s would be Tokyo Marui, KJW, KSC.

Or if you won the lottery recently, Inokatsu.

Buy a Marui 1911. Set aside a thousand dollars. Pick out any fancy aftermarket parts you want. Send it all to Illusion. Wait three months, and you have yourself the nicest 1911 money can buy.

If you're looking for a 1911/MEU, TM is the only way to go. For pictures, there's a thread already with tons of 1911/MEU/Hi-capa. As for personal experience, nothing compares to the fit, finish, reliability and consistence accuracy of a TM. KJW is a good compromise but nothing beats the original.
