AUG + Cmag= NoNO (unless you really want to work)

Was bored today so I put a heros arm cmag onto my aug.

Took a little work and some slight shaving with a knife, but it fit. I used the end thing off a loading rod to connect the bb feed hole and the loading tube of the aug. Taped and tied with some scrim it was all set.

First problem: The trigger requires more clearence then the boxy M4 mag will give. If you ever looked in the well mag of an AUG you'll notice the metal frame that works the trigger. It bumps up against the M4 mag and prevents firing. a fix is to not push the mag in so far.

2nd problem: Hard to hold. Not comfortable at all. Remeber this is a beta mag and not a drum mag so it sticks out on either side pretty far.

Impossible altogether? No, it would work, but with irreversable damage to both the aug and mag. I like to keep resale value of certain things and not dremel and glue things to dealth.

It's a pity the aug doesn't take armalite mags. I'd also like to see this.
