WE G39k or WE L85A2 ????
Hi guys, like the title says im looking to purchase the L85 or the G39 but cant decide which one to get. I come here looking for help.
My current guns are WE m14 and G&G F2000 WE L85A2 Pros: Bullpup which im use to and like Never seen one used where i play not even an AEG version, rare and unique I like guns that are different then Armalites Can use CO2 mags Mags are cheaper Cons: Cost more then the G39 Rare gun so have to order one and wait WE G39 Pros: Around $150 cheaper then L85 Cool looking gun with many variants Easily available Cons 50% of people playing have an AEG version, not a very rare gun Very leaky mags from what i read on this forum (i know you can fix them) Mags cost more and there is no C02 mags These are just my opinions on the difference..i was just wondering if anyone has played with both and could give me greater feedback to which is a better quality gun.. Thank you |

Go to a game, find someone who has one of the models you like, ask if you can handle them, pick the one you prefer.
We cannot make an opinion for you, since we don't know your preferences.

IMHO L85A2 just cause it takes WE M4 mags which means anyone who is running an M4 variant can toss you a mag if your out in battle.

I heard the L85 GBB is not very left-hand user friendly.
Something to consider perhaps? |

Remember the L85 is based on a gun even the Germans couldn't fix.
I owned a we g36 and it was one of the hardest kickers I had ever felt. Honestly on full auto the recoil of that thing rocked. Yes the mags did leak like a mother f'er but if you fix them with some blue gasket maker they were perfect. What I didn't like about it is the rails that the bolt ride on are plastic molded into the body of the gun. Big heavy bolt on plastic rails = fail. That was my biggest gripe. Over time the rails will just keep on waring more and more. If WE just spend a little more and made them with metal rails I would probably still own mine right now. Just to give you an idea of how much they wore on mine. Every time I shot my gun I would field strip it and wipe down the bolt and rails. Each time I would do this so when ever I would feel like plinking my gun would be nice and clean. The gun would only go through 3 mags worth of BBs and when the gun was cleaned there would always be a think grey paste from the plastic. Very disconcerting. So thats just something to consider about this gun. It is a hoot to shoot with though. If WE were to change to metal rails I would buy another in a heart beat. |

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

H&K couldn't even make the L85 a good gun lol
Who cares if it's rare or not? It's more important to have a working gun than a unique one. In my experience, everyone with a really cool unique gun either keeps it on a shelf or it's constantly broken. |

I have a WE g39k, just got it, and it's bloody amazing. Thus far I've had no problems at all with leaks. That being said, is there any way I can tone down the pressure? Nowhere that I've seen lets you shoot above 360ish, and it's firing at about 400. I use .30s and it's still fast...

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

I feel I should mention that L85 can FIT C02 mags, but it cant actually fire with them without exploding...

I'm using Firepower High powered green gas, I'm gonna grab an adapter for propane though. It's way cheaper.
