continued TSD L96 hop up problems

I recently purchased a L96 used that turned out to have broken parts in the hop up unit. Being my first ba rifle, and since there are missing/ broken parts, I'm having trouble understanding what's all missing, and finding a replacement unit seems to be next to impossible. I'm gonna post some pics of the unit and whats broken with the hopes some of you can identify and maybe help out a little.

Side view of broken arm. What used to be here?

What I don't understand is in the bottom view pic, where the set screw usually should be for adjusting the hop, there is nothing. But any other sniper rifle should and does have adjustable hop, so what kind of hop up is this anyhow? Also, the arm shown that's broken obviously to put hop up on the bb, but due to it being broken when I received the gun, I don't know what the arm used to look like. This gun was advertised as a tsd but is it. Actually? Has anyone ever seen a hop up like this before? And what can I replace it with? Any links to a good replacement, or feedback on pdi units, if they actually are compatible with this gun, would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Hey
That is your typical POS hop chamber that comes in all cheap L96's(I have one to), as you stated your hop arm is broken(mine did to), your metal hop adjusting ring is missing, the only thing that keeps the ring there is the hop arm and since yours is broken I would say it fell off and went down the outer barrel or who knows were. I bought an after market hop chamber from Cobra airsoft for 25$ plus shipping, it is real nice and uses aeg bucking and barrel, that being said I wish I had bought the PDI chamber because it adjusts left and right(didnt know at the time).

Don't kick yourself! I ordered a pdi unit after waiting ages for it to come in stock, and 150 bucks later I'm not really all that happy. I'm still tweaking it and its improving, but I expected better compatibility with the tsd l96... I mite try ordering one of the ones you linked an just give it a whirl, see how it works. Nice thing is, it can use an aeg barrel, wich I had to buy with the pdi hop up. Thanks heaps my friend..!

By the way there is one thing I forgot to mention about this hop unit, it doesn't come with the metal adjusting ring, so if you are missing yours this one won't work for you, I found a site that sells stock L96 hops so you could get the ring if your interested
