You have to take out the slide, then you will see the small mechanism at the back, you will need to unscrew the philips in the back, and take the pin out (situated about 1 inch form the top, in the far back of the grip)
Then you can take the mechbox out, watch out for that lever on the left, the spring might jump out when released. For the hammer, you have a pin going trough the hammer and the knocker, take it off, and you should have the hammer with the spring free. You might want to head over youtube to see if there's a video of that. |

Anyways, I have successfully disassembled and reassembled the upper and lower part of my g18c. Theres only 2 problems that I experienced:
1. Where does the little ball go on the selector switch? i tried everything and it still doesnt seem like it fits newhere.. here are some pics: 2. The other thing I forgot is, how do u install the side plate on the slide? I did it once but I forgot how since its been a while |

1: You have to push the little ball in. It's the "clicker" of the selector, and spring holds it in place.
2: You just put it in place flat side out, round end facing the back, before you put the internals and it's held in place by it's shape and the plate of the internals.

neways i fixed it turns out the peg was broken, so i just placed the ball on top of the spring and so the ball can click in and out of the slots for each firing mode

The side plate goes in before you drop the whole blow back unit in, there's no actual way of keeping it in the pressure of the BBU keeps it in place. Well thats how it works on my PGC slide atleast.
