That sometime happens...
1) is your battery charged 2) Fire one auto burst then 5 or 6 shot semi and try again

Does the spring unwind after your last shot all the time instead?
If so, you forgot to put it, or put in your antireversal latch wrong. |

if your changing your piston, you might as well change the piston head and cylinder for better air seal. By the way before you take everything out, you have to press the forward assist.

When you closed you aeg back, did you bring the smooth surface of the top gear (on top)
Or Did you persuade it to close in any way because the rachet pushes on the anti reversal lever you said was OK... if it's bent... it wont work or the rachet push rod end up some how in front of the anti reverse (wont work either) does the rachet rod return to the rear when released if that is all good... reopen (check barrel seat, make sure the rachet rod sits behind the anti reversal and try again... you probably just mis aligned something your going to hate me for this... charge your batery and try again tomorrow (fire a burst then 4 or 5 shots semi and hit it It happend to me 2 times in almost 2 years and each time the gremlin disappeared before I could figure what was wrong

If the piston is already in the forward position and you push the forward assist nothing will happen! I had the same thing happen when I changed my spring in the upper and realized the same thing after a while! Sometimes it releases the spring and sometimes it doesn't because it isn't under load! As for the anti- reversal latch, it's the latch inside the lower gearbox that sticks out the top when you take apart the receiver and remove the upper! If you haven't taken your lower gearbox apart then it wasn't that, however, sometimes the anti-reversal latch springs are weak and you may need to replace it!

Shit i forgot
before closing... reverse the gearbox direction using you fingers until de anti reversal stands up (moves forward a bit) If you have a turbo 3000 it not easy (stiff motor)
