A&K SVD - upgrade ideas?
Hello;
I have a stock A&K SVD that i want to upgrade with high performance internals. I have already been looking around for an EDGI 6.01mm inner barrel and could use some help finding other high end upgrades. If anyone would like to point out what i should buy (perhaps a link would be appreciated)... i would greatly appreciate it.... or if anyone feels that there would be a better inner barrel please let me know. I greatly appreciate all help/ advice to make my SVD... EPIC

Lost my love for madbull when they sent me a very faulty barrel and refused to replace it.

However, durring my searches everyone who actually owns this gun is extremely happy with its performance. I got some .36g BB's comming in a few days so ill have to wait and see how accurrate the gun is with a stock barrel.

what hop up rubber does the A&K SVD use? and is the hop up consistent?

from all of the research i've done it uses a V type hopup rubber but a regular AEG hopup rubber will work. All you have to do is cut it down a bit as they are just a little too long...
I have also found that the hopup on its is very consistent. It uses a hex screw and a silicone nub that presses down on the V type rubber

awesome, you should change out the hop up rubber first to a more consistent one. That will have much more effect on consistency and accuracy than the barrel itself.
