56K means?
I'm looking through some posts and keep seeing "56k die" or "56k" or some other variation of 56k. What does this mean?
Thanks, Drew

56K = 56 Kilobytes per second = DIAL-UP
usually 56K die is where there are alot of high res photos that will slow down or "kill" dial-up internet |

It's a throwback to 56K (AKA "dialup") modems/intrnet connectivity (even worse if you have a 1200 or 2400 baud modem which was before 56K connection speeds).
EVERYONE (except for some people who live out in the sticks) should really have at least a 64 KB(yte) connection at minimum.

I remember the days of grabbing shitloads of the AOL 3.5" floppys and wiping the shit on them because I was too cheap to go out and buy my own blank ones.

Anyone remember 5 1/4" Floppy B?
I have a box of them and I cut them open at the top and use them to store CD's (if I don't have "proper" CD sleeves available).
