Best valve replacement for an all metal TM 226
Some time ago i bought a scond hand TM 226r.
It has a guarder metal conversion and i find the blowback to be a bit sluggish with original mags. Looking to get some high power valves along with upgraded routers etc.. AFAIK the nineball purple routers are good stuff.. unless someone has better ideas i will get those.. but what to get for a valve upgrade? For this use i guess im looking for maximal power that wont break the blowback unit (which it seems is the beating point on a tm 226) |

Have you tried a different recoil spring? If not, I'd say a Guarder, but that's just my personal preference at this moment in time. Generally metal kits go hand in hand with upgraded recoil springs, as far as I can tell from what most people upgrade their GBB's with.
I can't say what works well in a P226, haven't touched much more than the piston head in mine as of yet. Oh, a piston head with O-ring would be nice, too... Might add a little more oompf to your GBB's kick? Seems like it, at least, to me. |

WEll, as far as i know the recoil spring ha not been upgraded.. meaning i can't tell if it has. I can tell though that the slide does nto return to battery as fast as i'd like, so that is on the todo list.. However my main concern is that it does not move back fast enough. For this i need more gas
