Launchers
How to they work o.O? (before anyone says anything about the meme "Magnets, how do they work?" i will hit you. lol)
Do you forever lose your shell once shot? they look cool but i'm confused on how they work. I've seen a guy with one that (im guessing) shot at my teammates and made a LOUD bang and a little smoke came from it. both teams were shocked and stayed still cause they thought someone threw something real or something... |

they work like a big shotgun for the most part. currently there is no launchable "fragmenting" grenade in production, although there is a protype tornado variant for grenade launcher.
shells use propane or co2, and fire out a cloud of 18-200+ bbs, depending on the grenade. their are also foam rockets and multi purpose grenades that can be used for a a more diverse payload. but generally, big shotgun. |

The smoke was more than likely vapor from the sudden expansion of the gas charge.

Also, less likely the smoke you saw, but the BB's from a larger nade like a madbull king will look like a giant cloud coming at you Powder shots in the xmpb4 are less than dramatic. |

oh cool. so the shell stays inside the launcher then and is completely reusable.
awesome info guys thanks, do you know how much they weigh by any chance? (the most common ones i guess) |

On the contrary, BB showers are more effective in wide open games. CQB places will shy away from them for safety purposes.

I can't imagine the mess though. gear and guns all gummed up unless you can clean it off mighty quick. chances are that the shooter will be covered in it more so than your intended target. |
