Baby m4's/m4 pistol legality

Although I have no intrest in the m4 pistol's, I was just thinking: seeing it's not possible (correct me if I am wrong) to have an m4 without a stock/buffer tube, would an m4 pistol (without that) be legal (in full metal) in canada seeing they aren't really a replica of a real gun, or would it still be considered a replica fire arm?

No it's a full sized receiver, it's that simple.

HTH.

Also it's black and looks gun-like so that adds to it not being allowed in.

Olympic Arms OA-93 (and subsequent variants) is pretty close to that.

Honestly, if you're not sure about the legallity of an airsoft guns, it's probably because it's not legal to get across the borders.

But as other said, ask yourself one question "Does it have a full size reciever?" If the answer to that is "Yes" Then it's not legal.

Yes, they are.

Do more research.

Personally I'll be making this from a WE M4:

This site has everything you want to know about the ar15 pistol:

(Not including the rotating bolt modified uppers ... )

Yes, but OA built an alternate recoil system so they wouldn't have to use a buffer tube. In this case, VFC just eliminated the buffer and called it "win"; carrying on the long line of AEG manufacturers who produce products that if they were real, wouldn't work at all. Obviously displaying their lack of knowledge when it comes to how an AR-15 actually works.

I know, but the restricted portion remains the receiver, which in this case lacks and functions without the recoil buffer tube; so the "tubeless" lower remains a replica of a real firearm's lower (even though the legalities don't work that way, I'm just indulging the OP's question). I mean you could technically throw on a normal upper on it I suppose (it wouldn't function, but that's besides the point I guess).
