Well, yeah, I guess that would, in fact, be a lucky shot then, wouldn't it?

They carry the gear and upgrades they want so it is an equal playing field. And while luck may win you a round just like a lucky goal in hockey can win a game, it takes years of practice to become as good as those players are. You guys can mock the colours of the guns and jerseys all you want but at least give those athletes the respect they have earned.
I'm not going to deny they have physical abilities, but please don't compare this to hockey, where you have ONE puck, while in speedball you have an entire hopper filled with projectiles. Odds are you WILL it something if you shoot enough paintballs at it.

Look I'm not asking any of you to choose between airsoft and paint ball, hell you have already made your choice, god knows its easier to get into paintball than airsoft. But paintball by itself is a great sport. Sure it has its share of problems but so does airsoft. You say cheating is almost part of the sport yet I always see post saying "make sure you call your hits." It seems to me that airsoft has its problems with cheaters too.

Whatever, I guess bowling is a sport, darts is a sport, ball room dance is a sport ,,, all according to the International Olympic Committee. Doesn't matter, you've got your opinion... everyone does...

Ambush Anonymous Airsoft near Steinbach, Manitoba does as long as you have a guardian sign the waiver forum along with the kid. Although the FPS is limited to 300fps or 400fps if everyone in the group agrees to the higher FPS. So a sniper rifle is usually over 400 anyways... so he wouldn't be able to play with a sniper but with any other gun under 400fps he could.

The site for Ambush Anonymous Airsoft is www.aa-airsoft.com it opens May 1st and should be completely redesigned this year from last.

hello as this community enforces an 18+ rule i wont answer your question on where to get a rifle i will tell you that the frequently asked question section has lots of good information for you to find out more info about airsoft

also it is a good idea to get an aeg first and play a while before thinking about a special role

nice to hear your not "like every other kid" so my advice is to prove that and spend some time reading and learning before making any decisions

cheers

slight off topic question - in the case of a stock sniper rifle NOT out-ranging an AEG
if you look at say a 96 that fires 450 ft/s - even tho it fires that fast, will it still not out-range an AEG?

and as far as upgrading a sniper TO out-range an AEG, is it as simple as a new spring?

P.S. not looking to buy or to ask where to buy upgrades, just curious, I know all the reasons why I should start w/ an AEG, which is what I am going to do, but yeah, just wondering

The 18+ rule applies to playing and purchasing not posting. If you have something constructive to add to the thread then go for it!

it depends on what the L96 has done to it, if its just stock and shooting 450fps it prolly will not outrange an AEG, most sniper rifles require upgrades to the hopup etc. to make them outrange aeg's
