Wow that last picture is badass. I'm actually planning on running dual uppers on my ICS rifle eventually. You've given me a nice template. Do you have any higher res photos?

Very nice..

So in the end, how much did it all cost you? And even more importantly; how does it shoot?

I do actually, on my camera (they are 4288x2848 pictures)... I guess they were resized automatically by photobucket when I uploaded them.....

To be honest, I lost count, so much money went into this puppy, trial and error, tried lots of different setups for internals....

But right now, with the Ino superbolt body, and G&P Negative pressure nozzle + LCT trigger group + prowin v2, it kicks ass! :P

Also, since I'm picky, and some airsoft replica acessories are poorly made, I had to switch to RS parts.... (ie, the buffer tube that came with the MAgpul PRS stock sucked, I now have a RS one on there....lol)

I also have a RS Magpul BAD lever and a RS UTG tactical latch coming in in few days!

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Come on, spill it out; max. effective range for consistent hits on a human-sized target, FPS, groupings. That's what we really wanna know.

Does the KA Larue rail have the right barrel nut thread for G&P/WA receivers?
I ask because I want one for my PTW, and can't find much information on it.

That I dont know yet, I dont have enough space to do those test, and its not hot enough here to shoot this gun anyways.... (10°C.....)

Yep, the barrel nut that comes with it fits the G&P receiver perfectly

Maybe you shouldn't had gone WA based. I've gamed my WE SCAR at under 0ºC conditions, and all the newer guns from them perform pretty nicely in those ranges as long as you don't go crazy on the full auto (like WE G39C Performance in The Cold and Snow - YouTube).

Your gun looks very nice, but all it's got of DMR is the looks apparently, and it's pretty much a wall hanger, since I don't think you game that at all. But it's OK if that's what you were looking for in this project. I don't understand why you upgraded the internals though.

Why are you lecturing me? I'm well aware of other platforms of gbbr, and how they perform dude..... and look at the time I started this build..... back then, no gbbr platform was as good as the magna one....

As for the internal upgrade, I did so because all other parts i had in it were worn prematurely (after 100-200 cycles) and/or wouldnt fire/engage/cycle properly.... Magna platform is a really picky one....

Come on, admit it, you're just building it to be pretty, you'll never use it

(But it does succeed at being pretty )

I scratched built a GBBR AR and I chose the WA system solely because the receiver selection is unmatched. AFAIK the WA MAgna system is still the most realistic functioning AR platform and the wide availability of receiver types allowed me build an AR to my EXACT liking for a "reasonable" price. I'm sure there are many other folks that go the WA route for these reason alone.
