The fact that this thread got instant replies is great, also google will pull this up for any canadian who puts Canada and Tokyo Marui in the search window. So now that Frank has his product in our reach its going to be this forum that perpetuates it. Now with the posative take on TM that this sight gives (general) it is easy to expect someone to think its the best thing ever and finally available to them. Soon, my friend, soon we will have our questions answered and perhaps another route to send the new players down.
PS emailed him this morning about it and no reply yet, T7 has the right idea... Patience.

Canadian legal is like saying that you need to have a clear lower receiver to play airsoft in Canada. Just like United States legal would mean that you need to have an orange tip to play airsoft in United States. |

Meh. No one needs to buy guns (even TM quality) for overinflated prices now that tinted bodies are available dirt cheap.
1. Buy a VA tinted lower for $30. 2. Drive across the border and buy a new TM M4 for $250-ish, or a used one for $125-ish. 3. Install Tinted lower, toss TM lower in trash bin. 4. Drive back across border into Canada making sure to declare you non-replica airsoft purchase. As long as you have a car and a set of jeweller's screwdrivers then Bob's your uncle. Not Bob the Angry Potato, though. He owes me $400 still.....

Heh heh thats pretty much all you need to do
Don't forget to add the fifth step 5. Get custom Tinted lower receivers buy guns with no receivers build them yourself and open up an internet shop and SELL BRAND NEW TM GUNS banner and don't forget to add CANADIAN LEGAL Quote:

According to the VA web site, that's not so easy...

To be fair to the cansoft businesses, they're jumping through all the hoops to get these things manufactured and properly imported. It almost certainly a lot of work to run such a fully legit businesses, a lot more than simply buying inventory off BFL abusers or smugglers, or running across the border to swap a few receivers for your own acquisition.
At the end of the day, that effort to run a legit airsoft business should be commended, even if the prices aren't to some people's liking.

Just like orange muzzles are only required for transfer and can be removed after they've been purchased in all but a handful of States.

I'd still like to find somewhere to buy a fair priced HQ tinted lower
TM/CA compatible and I would be happy

I don't even deal with manufactures, and running this business is almost more than I can handle! I have a great deal of respect for all other legit business', because I know they're not all doing it for the money . Jeff

Foxx, I think you need to do some more research.
You cannot sell airsoft guns "canadian legal" or not. Exchange of ownership is 100% illegal.

exchange of ownership is 100% LEGAL not illegal. importing with out proper lic is illegal
once in canada it is legal infact customs rule for non registerable firearm is 407 to 500 fps that meets the energy needed for a non registerable firearm as long as the fps is stamped on the box by the manufacture. Last edited by nitro1; January 15th, 2010 at 00:06.. |

I'm assuming the one on the VA site is a replacement for their new JG line which is TM compatible.
