The Saiga 12, yeah I actually like that one. The Bizon kit I see at Redwolf is almost 2000$ (If I read it correctly)

What about the older WW2 Russian PPSh's?

As far as the BIZON is concerned. I don't know why one of these good AK makers like VFC or G&G can't release a BIZON. All u need is an AKSU for the basis of the gun and have the receiver custom cut-out in the front where the mag goes, to acomidate the BIZON magazine. Plus the front sight needs to be made to the BIZON type, which has a bayonet-lug on it. This is how the real BIZON mag attaches at the front. It hooks into place at the front to stablize the magazine. This is a hard mod to do successfully on an AKSU AEG, but I think using the P90 Hi-Cap is your best bet. But I still don't know how u would make this work considering the mag would have to be inserted like an AK mag, which is just inpossible to do when it's in a long tubular shape. Your best bet is to find another way, like actually cutting the AKSU receiver to make room for the Bizon magazine. If you can make the mag actually have a way to stay in place from the front, then u won't need the old AK mag-well anymore cause the Bizon mag will be held in place from the front somewhere and the mag-catch areas.

Look closely at the REAL BIZON and u'll see what I mean.

Also on a real BIZON, the round mag is flat on the left side, so that the skeleton stock can actually fold-in properly. You will have to find another way to keep it closed though. An easy way to make the custom round mag lock in at the front, as get yourslelf a metal pin that is longer then the stock one that holds the front sight block in place. Then insert the pin in the rear of those 2 pins, so u have a short one in the front, long one in the back. The 2nd pin is what is going to act as a locking pin for your tube-shaped mag.

Just like in this picture

Note: this picture is a custom-Bizon, made from an AKS-74U AEG.

If you want to make the Bizon hand guard, a good but cheap way would be to get a large sheet of clear poly-carb. Then custom make it from this material. You will want to get rid of the shiny surface though by using some sand paper to make it somewhat dull, so it's not so smooth, then spray-paint it all flat black when completed.

Some more good Bizon pictures. When u go here, please view the rest in the upper right.
This will shed alot of detail for anyone looking to make a custom Bizon AEG.
