So I went ahead and ordered the nitesites. You'll save $3 if you do it by snail mail because he setup his paypal thing so that instead of paying $3 for US & Canada shipping, paypal considers Canada to be international so it will charge you $6 for something that fits into a 60 cent envelope.

Yeah I think I did snail mail as well. Anyway, they're well worth it and all of the users here can most likely comment positively on the product you spent a whopping $10-15 on.

What gun are you putting it on?

Did my sub machine gun.

I did the MP&A1 today.

Here's a photo progression showing the holes made, then blackened, then the glow plastic glued in.

About an hour.

To sum:

I drilled out the holes first.

Then, I started the half-round grooves, by first making a slot with a dremel diamond wheel, and finished the groove with a wee round file (get'em at hobby stores).

Blacked out certain areas with sharpee, and finally installed the flourescent plastic rod with a tiny bit of epoxy resin.

Custom hand grips (USP & MP7), fore grips (MP7), and but-stock (MP7) are next, then some optics for the MP7A1. I'm liking that little aimpoint.
