Just use buyairsoft. It doesn't matter what gun you get because you won't be able to use it at an airsoft game.
If you're just shooting your friends in their backyards... you don't need a great gun, just stick with walmart stuff and wear goggles.

Velocity Arms is so good to deal with that I am putting in a VA pro shop at my field. That should give you a clue as to how good Frank is to deal with.
Cheers, BlackRain.

Some stores sell to non-age verified persons, thats their business, but everyone knows how the community stands on that. It's also good to see that most stores follow the AV system. Keep guns (real and fake) out of reach of unsupervised children is always good. But yeah VA is a good place to buy. Listen to the mass, wait until your 18 or go to buyairsoft.com |

BUt first do a little search here on the forum for buyairsoft and then decide if you want to deal with them.

Buyairsoft have a spotty reputation at best. A lot of people here have had first-hand bad experiences with them over the years. I've personally dealt with them a couple of times buying air guns (not airsoft) and have always gotten speedy service and got what I ordered very quickly. But when there's a problem with your order, they tend to not be very responsive.
And as stated many times, airsoft is an 18+ sport. Some fields will allow 16+ if a parent is also in attendance PLAYING with you, not just giving consent. Some private games will allow under 18, and that's the host's perogative. But in Ontario, it's strictly 18+ and there are rarely exceptions. As for AV, your parents can't get AVed to buy you a gun. If the admins find out a parent got verified and is buying guns for their kid rather than themselves, they will revoke the AV status. And yes, VA is great to deal with. While I have't bought from them directly, they've gotten nothing buy praise from the community.

I would say that you wait until you're 18, and then get AVed and buy a gun, go to games, have fun, etc. Understand airsoft is largely 18+ not to stop you from having fun, but for liability and maturity reasons. One cannot expect a 15 year old to behave maturely while holding a replica weapon that can injure someone. Also, if such a thing did occur, the minor could not be held responsible for his/her actions the way an adult could. Understand that if you do not think about the above, you are endangering our hobby. If you absolutely MUST have a gun NOW, I recommend that you get your parents to buy you a Walmart gun to plink with in the BASEMENT. Not in public, or anywhere where you might be seen. Do not paint it, keep it clear, to avoid any confusion should you be an idiot and bring it outside where nosy neighbours might catch a glimpse of it. Lastly, if you get your parents to AV for you, you will most likely never be accepted by the community, even when you are of age. -ethan. |

VA is awesome. My roomate ordered mine and she is not even an ASC member. BTW it's Torontoairsoft.com now.
The gun in my sig pic is the one i got. Only issue I had was the friggin thing dropped like 100 bucks about a month after I bought it. Noone can blame them for that though.

Frank's deals are top-notch, but don't buy anything in clearance, as it won't have a warranty. I found that one out the hard way with my GR16(although I removed the upper receiver as per 101Tech's instructions so it would have been voided anyway), but all in all he's pretty good.
