PTWs are overrated. However, I'm not ashamed to say Ronan's was the nicest PTW on ASC. Hands down....

Wish my dad would buy me some expensive RS parts from the states.... *pouty face*..

A real KX-3 won't fit. A 14mm+ airsoft one will though.

You could make it fit, if you drilled out the threads and installed a grub screw to fit the brass collar.

And, there are 2 manufacturers of an aftermarket hop-up cage now, one made from stainless, and one from steel.

Kdogg at Empire has made one as well, but a bit different. No pics posted of it yet.

What's with all the pink? I noticed earlier that saying pen-is gets you an automatic ***** censor, see, I say ***** and........... like shit, if the 6pm news can use the word, why can't ASC allow it anymore? Bullshit!

Alright kids, recess is over. Just answer the question or there'll be detention handed out.

As for buying real EOTechs in Canada, I got a quote of $2000.00 for the 553 from Nicholls a few years back. Needness to say, I found a retailer from the States that had no problem shipping one to me. They have stopped that practice now.

Used 553 have popped up on CGN from time to time. Last 2 were $750 and $800 respectively.

Holy crap. Ronan's a popular guy on here it seems.

Thanks for the heads up on the KX3 and EOTech. I'm in the U.S. often so will likely buy one the next time I'm there and carry it back. I assume the it's the same case for the Surefire as well...

Thanks for the responses guys. Both informative and entertaining...

I would be a little hesitant about carrying one back with you. They are items with export restrictions, and both the seller and buyer face fines, etc. if caught. Being a Canadian, you may find trouble crossing the border in the future, all to save a couple hundred bucks.

Unless you are an American citizen, in which case, give'er.
