Im dieing to get my hands on a tanaka m870. Gaming a shell ejecting shotty would be awsome!! So what if you have to load each shell with gas and pick up the ejected rounds after. Its all apart of the fun seeing the casing fly out the side of your weapon when you pump the action!

The only problem is its not very good in woodland, or indoor paintball arenas. In woodland you can loose the shells super easily, and in paintball arena's they'll get sand inside.

If you really want a shell fed shotgun, invest in a shell catcher.

You guys know what i ment :P. But yea for CQB it'd be a shell catcher. There is a decomishioned ferry out here that games are hosted on every once and a while. It would be perfect for one of those games. Other then that it'd be a wall hanger.

something like that would be useful at a place like TTAC3 where there's no sand and they also use realcaps too

I've been blasted plenty of times from shottys. Mostly CQB. Some spring and some gas.

The gas was an 8mm Maruzen. Hurts. Even with the lightest 8mm bbs...it's still a beast.

All the shottys are neat and most time just plain beautiful. I wouldn't take one to a hose-fest game but most of the experienced players that use them make good use of their shots and don't feel the need to blaze away.

One time, one guy took out 8 others by outpositioning them and all 8 of those guys were loaded for bear (rifles/pistols/even a grenade). Caught them looking the wrong way or got the drop on them, and he worked his shotty really well. Didn't even go to his pistol for the closer shots.

It's the guy (or gal) holding the shotty that you've got to worry about.

Bad ass though they are, I could never field a gun that ejects shells.
