It's an airsoft shop located bout an hour from me. They don't carry them as products, just have them in parts bins.

Man that would be sweet if Calgary still had some Airsoft shops!!!
I will probably have to order them from UN company, but thanks DSFD506 for the suggestion! |

Just a quick question, doesn't custom seized metal slides? Or did you took a chance on it?

Hey jdyahoo,
Customs might seize it if you order from some US or perhaps other international stores, but when I purchased my metal pieces, I went through RedWolf Airsoft. The specifically say that they will not ship a full gun to Canada, but after emailing them a few times, all gun accessories such as mags, springs and spare parts can be shipped to Canada, and in the past have been shipped successfully. So with that said, to this date, I have ordered on three separate occasions 2 silencers for my MP5 PDW, 3 100 round G&P Mags for my MP5, G19 Metal parts and 3 Extra Mags for my G19. None of my packages were inspected by customs, and once my order was placed, I received my packages 4-6 business days after my order went though. They ship through some Honk Kong express super fast courier, and on the package, all that it says for the packages contents is that they are "toys". So I would say if you are really wanting one bad, go through Redwolf... plus i for accessories, since it is stated on the website they ship all items under their accessories section to Canada without a problem, it should not be an issue for your metal. A sales rep guaranteed me after reviewing my pending order, that as long as I do not order a complete gun, if my shipping of accessories are to be sized, I will get a refund. (but please do not quote me on this, make sure you email them, and ask what is to happen if your order gets seized, and do your research and ask alot of questions!) Hope that helps! |

you can purchase it from anywhere, it should go through unless customs really feels like being absolute nazi's that day.

To date I've received 3 metal slides from HK. They were individual purchases and all were at my door within 5 days.

Just to update on this topic.
I finally got my metal slide/magazine/high flow valve and inner barrel from WGC today. Custom already took away the joy by opening up the package for me. But nonetheless, the installation was a breeze, it is so easy to take apart and put back a glock......except I didn't have the tool to remove the valve from the magazine. (I should've bought the tool as well, I guess it is a stupid mistake on my behalf). The only thing that caused minor inconveniences is to remove the rear sight from the plastic slide.....and the pin that holds the hop-up. After installation, fired about hundred BB, no issue (except a slight harder kick-back, louder pop and a distinct smell of propane). All in all, I gotta say, thanks guys!!! |
