People generally go airsoft for the more realistic weapons. Seems like a cheat to make them whisper quiet.

Hmm thanks? I just find it faster to ask then search for the answer.

One last question. Right now I'm using a 9.6v 3300mah(for my P90 with the m120 & bushing) and since my fuse keeps burning up I removed it. Like how many rounds will it take before it burns up my motor or anything stuff? And what battery do you guys recommend.

Thanks again.
You need a stronger battery.

Just an idea: NO ONE give him any more help... let him find it himself.

If you are consistantly blowing 20 amp fuses, you have a problem that needs to be addressed. Put your fuse back in. It's there to protect your motor and switch.

Perhaps you should go to an airsoft game then? Silencers are used in the airsoft world as well as in the real one.

If you get owned by a guy with a silencer, too bad for you!!!

I'm sure the Taliban cries "No fair", too.

wtf? I think you missed the point. Unlikely even a silencer would make a P90 silent at 30'.

Perhaps not his with his upgrades, but my AUG in the bush is that quiet (unless it fires dry, then you MIGHT hear it).

Quick jump in here: Mcguyver I think Guardian is referring to real steel.

Maybe, but in airsoft a nearly silent gun is attainable. Real steel has other issues.

You could put 3 barrels and a 30000 round boxmag on it and ‘own my ass’ also. My point was that making an SMG fire whisper quiet goes counter to emulating the real steel.

‘Maybe’ you did understand my point.

BTW - If you are going to suggest stuff like this

So you're not saying that "using a silencer is like cheating"? Not much realism though in a gun that goes "ZING, ZING, ZING". My point was more that using a silencer on a gun is not cheating and that it may, infact, be more realistic in sound (as well as appearance), than an AEG without one.

I'm assuming you're going after the "realism" angle here. There is little if anything "realistic" about airsoft, other than the gear.

I didnt read all the posts but want to warn you not to use expanding foam. Ask anyone who uses expanding foam for work regularly and they will tell you the same thing as me. Expanding foam can be really strong stuff when its expanding and drying. If you were to just sqwirt a bunch of it in your gun it would expand between the mechbox and the body and and basicly split the body in two. If you did make a mistake and wanted to get it out you would also be in trouble. It really sticks to whatever it drys to. You would never be able to get it all off.

Expanding foam + Airsoft gun = a bad idea
