Is your cut off lever free-moving?
Test: Set your selector plate in the semi position. Get rid if all your gears and stuff, keeping only the sector gear and trigger. Pull the trigger and turn the sector gear with your other hand. See the cut off lever start to move? At a certain point the cut off lever would push the trigger block upwards. This would dislodge it and cause it to snap backwards. If that doesn't happen you won't get semi. |

Did you try engaging the cut off lever manually and firing? If you can do this manually, guns fine, cut off lever is the issue. Id say its either worn, bent, or too tight. This is a new mechbox afterall.
Interesting, as I was thinking of trying this mosfet and I was looking at the lonex gearbox..

Okay that explains it then the mod i did to the top bit of the trigger switch (i pug a small screw into the bottom because it just kept slipping off the trigger)
So effectively i have dissabled semi. Well that solves that now the only issue is it makes an odd sound like a whine and the piston moves forward like it unwinds as if the arl isnt catching but only once in a while cause the piston does lock back if i stop mid cycle. Oh well time for a gun doc this is makin me nuts lol. Shame cause i thought i could do it and i though i had it a cpl times im sure its something stupid im missing lol

I dont think its the fet it worked fine in my other shell It could be just my lack of skill and now the mod i did on the trigger switch will disable semi for sure. Ill install the stock trigger switch maybe tommorow if i regain some patience. Ive done this crap 2 day in a row for hours with little to no luck lol. Shiftsup I cleared space

Okay so ima try this one last time.
I had it working well (least i thought i did) But the bottom of the sector gear that meshes with the spur gear stripped. Do we think this is a shimming issue? Ive deduced that the sector gear was riding a lil too low causing the bottom teeth to rub the face of the spur gear when loaded does this seem like a proper diagnosis? I did notice it would runb a lil on testing but once i put the other half of thebshell on it seemed fine (tho really close but still had soke clearence) so once it was tryin to pull the sprng it shifted enough to rub i think as its the ssction directly opositd the "half gear" part that pulls the piston that had stripped.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

Thinnest shim under spur gear, med-thick shim under bevel and sector gear. That guarantees they never rub. Then finish shimming the top of the gears
Then shim the bevel to the motor to make sure the motor is within proper engagement range of the bevel |

Is the cutoff lever aligned with the trigger trolley properly? Ie underneath the little wedge that it contacts, not over it.
I've made that mistake before, resulting in no semi. |
