Yep, toastied lol
They're meant for speed on a 300fps setup. marui motors, although well made, were never designed to be used at 400fps. That's why they invented double torque gearsets lol
G&P M120s are meant to be run at 360-400fps no problem on standard ratio gears.

I use an EG 700 with a M120. Great ROF on a 9.6 battery, never any problems with power. The EG 700 puts out more torque, the EG1000 is more for ROF at less FPS.

As stated TM motors werent meant for 400FPS springs. But if you want to use one, use the EG 700, still IMO one of the best motors out there, I have them in both of my guns, one is like 5 years old, and still going strong.

If someone was stuck with a 8.4 mini battery. (1600 mah) Would they have any chance in hell at getting their gun working with a m120 spring? Like is there a super good motor that would allow for this?

When I had my TM AUG (stock EG700 motor) I ran an M120 with Elite 1500mah 8.4v mini packs, no problem.

I do it all the time.

You just need a good shim job, good motor, good wires and decent battery.
