It's all good, you'll learn the lingo.

There really isn't a point however to purchasing a rifle/pistol etc until you reach at least 16.

As Kokanee stated, you won't be using your gun much. And even though it may seem like a good idea to get one to practice in your backyard, it's very dangerous. The police may be called and they'll be scared seeing an assault rifle in your hands, and things could end badly.

I'm in the same boat as you, albeit a year older. Lucky for me, I have three friends into airsoft and we get together to play often.

Oh, and I forgot to mention I was here around your age, and was told the exact same thing you're hearing now. Just like to state I'm here now, and the sport still is. So just be patient, learn everything you can, and your time shall come.

Well you've got 4 years to read up on airsoft guns and rules, by the time your old enough to buy a gun your going to know exactly what you want, and maybe you'll even have enough money saved up to get a good one

In Toronto
TTAC3 - run by Brian McIlmoyle whose on the forums, CQB max 20 players but usually less. Games typically on Fridays.
Paintball CQB - Eco usually hosts games there, they got an indoor and outdoor venue right across from each other. Player cap is usually 30, sometimes higher. They usually play Sundays.
Defcon - they have 2 locations, one is indoors in Scarbrough, the other outdoor area is just north of downtown Toronto. Able1 is usually the host. I've yet to go either venue but I usually see game posts for Sundays, sometimes Tuesdays.

You would have to keep an eye out on the Games and Events Schedule in Ontario on the forums to see where and when games run and PM the host(s) to see if they'll allow you to spectate and DO NOT ARGUE WITH THEM, remember that its their party so they have final say.

Basically for all intents and purposes no. IF and this is a big IF they do let you play it will be on the hosts terms (ie. x age and must have parent playing beside you, or x age and parent/legal guardian is active/good standing member in the local airsoft community, etc.).

We here on the website promote an 18+ environment however 16+ is another age marker that some use as a cutoff.

Even then there are some groups (unfortunately not in Ontario) that do let kids younger than that play. These include EASY Group, Low Shotz, and Ambush Anonymous.

Another thing that might be worth trying out (and only if you're in the sticks (sticks/boondocks = country or rural areas)) is target shooting with air guns like the Daisy Avanti/Powerline or somesuch. You do have to be 18+ to purchase, however with parental supervision you'll be good to go to plink pop cans and target sheets (just make sure you and your parent is safe and have safety equipment and a safe range with backstops and such.

Good luck and it's refreshing to see a "responsible" minor like you (just read a few threads where the original poster is a minor and you'll get the picture of why we hate them so much. That being said, there are also a lot of legal adults that disappoint us as well with the same types of threads asking the same questions) so keep it up and you'll be treated with a lot of respect.
