But besides the looks, how do you like the feel and weight of the SCAR? I have found that almost all VFC guns are lighter than the other companies counter parts. Mmmmm, gotta love CNC'd aluminum. SHA DO

Read the other posts before posting. He said it was VFC and VFC does not make GBBR SCARs.

Re VFC. Usually the first release of a new one will have two versions, a plain package and then a DX version. So the Mk 16 got 2 inner barrels, and a case. The EGLM comes all singing dancing with 3 magwell groups.
Then later they'll just sell the plain version with one barrel, no case, and so on. So if you do see a VFC model you like get the first round with the bells an whistles. And last point, there is a GBBR Mk 16 in the pipe from these guys, various pictures are up on this webiste. For the folks trying to puzzle out internals they now have a listing of the M4 spare parts on their website.

The only thing I will say about the SCAR, it's a heavy gun so you'd better be in good shape if you're gonna game one. Also you should buy a sling.

? what are you talking about.
My TM Ak that is full metal/wood weights close to my SCAR with EGLM. You must be used to packing around a P90 or an MP5 or something. The scar on its own with no grenade launcher is not heavy at all.

SCARed for life
When I tried it at the store, it's really surprisingly light. I expected a heavy rifle but it's actually very slim. It might look chunky from the side but from the top down it's very slim.
Was at the store past weekend the wrong color came in - I wanted the tan one but black one came in now I have to wait a bit more ... Sigh... |

Yeah, I actually thought it would be very bulky from pictures but one I got one in my hands, I loved it.

SCARed for life
I think lots of people get tha impression from games, such as modern warfare two. In the game the scar L feels like it's a monster. But that's just bad modeling of their art team

My Echo 1 SCAR weighs in at approx. 11 lbs. THat's without the Grenade launcher. I guess it's because it is a Echo 1.
