This topic is very interesting, as I just had one of my customers come to me with images of a Systema M120S (Stainless) that had also snapped. This spring was purchased from me and I got it either from Wargamer's or UNCompany.
It's almost like one of those "strange but true" urban myths you hear about and is completely wack in my mind. I don't even know if this is something Systema would warranty for... |

I have a couple Madbull 110 springs and have tried one, found it to be rather stiff (lower rate of fire) and borderline 400fps, a bit too close for my tastes (since it'd occasionally give me upwards of 408fps) as I like at least 5-10fps amount of headroom to help pass the chrony at games.

Systema uses springs from sone alluminium alloy whichare not properly tampered.I've gived a pring to engeneer and he said that that particular springs sucks. He suggest to search springs from piano wire/steel which will work forewer.

ive only ever used systema springs except one time. my AUG had a Prometheus 400fps spring for about 2 weeks before it snaped.

Haven't had any experience with Systema springs, but I know every other Systema part I've bought except the silent piston / cylinder head set has failed miserably. I'm never again popping money into that overpriced garbage.
So far, I've had:
And BTW, my parts were all genuine Systema (not Area 1000) and all purchased from Jugglez (except the nozzles that came from Redwolf), so I doubt they were counterfeits.

I've heard of 2 systema springs breaking in Mb, had to work on one of those.
I use prometheus springs, and apart from the occasional color blind worker putting the spring in the wrong package, they work pretty well |

Stainless steel is more brittle than carbon steel. I could easily see why their M120S would break.
Depending on the grade of stainless, it may not even be magnetic, and easily confused with a cheap alloy. Stick to steel springs, I happen to be a fan of Prometheus.
