TM AUG Battery

Hey I am having a bit of an argument with sumone over an aug battery does it have to be a specialized battery like this http://www.airsoftgi.com/images/Picture-005-battery.jpg or can it be one of these http://www.21stcenturyairsoft.com/pr...etail/607a.jpg jus ta reg mini battery but a better 1 ...

yea man you can put the regular sized battery... when i had my aug i had a aug batery then it died so i went with a reg sized 1....

depends on the spring's strength mostly
bigger spring -> bigger battery (1st one)

with a few quick cuts you can get a better battery than both in the butt of an AUG - i.e. 9.6v nunchuck.

I've used an AUG with both, and you really can't argue against going to 9.6 w/a TM.

It is so easy to do that you can actually do it with an X-Acto.


You see the plate at the rear, molded to fit the 8.4v mini? There is two screws near the top.

Remove them, and make sure you don't loose the two nuts that are behind it (Keep the gun barrel down and make sure it stays 90deg from the ground).

Then, simply cut the plate about 1/4 inch under the two screw holes.

Re-install the plate.

You are done.
