G&G GR16 gearbox pin
anyone has G&G gr16 series and know how to pull out the little pin that hold the gearbox and lower reciever. Please advise me how to do it because i have hard time to pull it out in order to mainten my gun.

The one right above the trigger? Push it out with a thin rod or something similar, and some tapping.

I usually find it's best to take the stock, grip and rear pin out first (in that order). All those things hold your mechbox in place and put tension on the flora pin (the pin you described).
Then push out the pin (with an allen key or something that won't slip). One end of the pin is usually ribbed or has some kind of texture on it to grab into your body...so they're only meant to go in and out one way. If your push it out a bit and notice that the other end is smooth...push it out the other way. I got into the habit of putting the pin in from the right side...the same side that the receiver pins are put in...otherwise you're just guessing. When reassembling...put in the flora pin, the rear receiver pin, the stock and then the grip (in that order). Works for me. Best of luck, Tys |
