Making KWA piston head usable.
Well..
I was about to order a brand new head set for my KWA when I first opened the mechbox. KWA rifles come with an aluminium piston head... The only problem is that is it not ported! Easy remedial. Tools needed: A Dremel or drill Fine drill bits A ruler First remove the head from the piston and the o-ring from the head. Then try to divide the piston head in 6-8 even section (they don't have to be perfect. I used a knife to mark the surface very slightlty) Ruler time! Measure 3mm from the outer edge and mark the drilling spot. Then simply drill with a small bit. I used a 1mm bit and a 2mm bit to shave the barbs. Voila! Improved air seal and no more suction! |
