Need help with my ICS m16
hi I have a ICS m16 and I just bought a Prometheus 6.03mm innerbarrel, Guarder spring guide, Systema hopup rubber, Systema M120 spring and a Guarder cut off lever. I installed them myself I have lots of experence working on normal guns and mechboxs but this was my first time doing a ICS. The problem is when it fired it shot about two feet then hit the ground then one or two bbs fell out of the barrel. So I switched the parts back to the old ones except for the spring guide and spring but I'm still having the same problem. Do ICS gears time differently than normal ones or is it the cut off lever?
Thanks. Last edited by captain haddock; November 1st, 2008 at 11:29.. |

Timing is a myth. Gears set themselves after the first shot. Cutoff lever has nothing to do with the bb's flight. It disengages the trigger switch when the AEG is in semiauto. Sounds like a massive sealing issue or the hop up is down way too tight, actually stopping the bb's from coming out the barrel properly.

Unless you forgot to place the tappet plate's spring in place, it is a hop-up issue.
Disassemble and double check. |

I'd have to second this.

So I got it to fire I still don't know what the problem is but now its really accurate? Some bbs fly to high and some to low and some fly to the left and right. And it also seems to be double feeding sometimes
