MP5 Mounting Ring

Hello ppl, I am looking to get my brother a laser sight for his MP5-SD5 for christmas. Now I know when he was looking into what gun he wanted to get into Airsoft with he was looking at http://www.airsoftcanada.com/gallery...photo=25&cat=9 that and just loved it. But I am having a serious issue finding that style mounting ring, only place I saw it was at WGC and its disscontinued. Just wondering if anyone had seen one online or even may have one lying around they don't want anymore.

Help a (my) brother out, thanks guys.

What about just a low profile MP5/G3 mount rail and/or scope rings?

The only issue I see for that is he has a low red dot mounted on the top of his gun and it looks like that does too? So it would have to mount off to the side or below the barrel, thanks for that suggestion though, I didn't know you could mount a rail to an MP5 that well... I rather like that myself.

OOOOOOH I completely misunderstood you. You mean the laser on the front....yeah I'm not sure about that. You could try something like one of these, but I don't know where the person got the rail to stick it on from.

Hmmm, I think that still presents a problem needing the rail mount. My brother has a similar mount for his scope as in that pic and I believe any rail would have to mount in the same place, rendering his scope mount unless. But... maybe he'll just have to get a differant one or something.

If possible I'd like to get him a sweet little laser setup that doesn't cause him to have to change/buy new parts for what he already uses.

Those low profile rail mounts are pretty long. I'm sure you could fit an RDS and a laser mount as well.

True, an RIS front grip is another choice.

looks like UNcompany has them too. http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct.asp?subcatid=158 8th item down.

A little further down the page they also have one that has a cover over the side that mounts to the sight. That looks pretty neat too. Another option would be to get one of these or something like it. http://www.opticsplanet.net/caa-sxs-...ont-sight.html then he can mount a laser + a light off it if he likes.
