Bi-pod adaptor for Warrior 1 L96

Just got the Warrior 1 and the bi-pod adaptor has ALOT of play.. Is there any to tighten it up? Or could I just super glue it to the body of it?

it is supposed to be able to move side to side. (in rotation) otherwise it will be impossible to adapt to any surface that is not flat and horizontal.
