I would like to know which one is the most solid feeling and has the best texture to it. Thanks for your input!

Ive held a TM SR-16 with a KA g27 grip, although at first glance I did not like it... but after holding the gun for about 5 seconds I grew to love it.

Really, it depends on your hand and personal preference. Try them out if you can.

I personally do not care for the "stock" M4 grip, regardless of make/manufacture. Running the wiring can be really tight with upgraded wires.

My favourite is the MAID grip, with the G27 a close second. G27 is "groovy" while the MAID is very plain, but with excellent texturing. Lots of room for wiring, but needs a specific heatsink and not all motor housings will cleanly fit the motor height adjustment screw/nut.

The dboys SPR grip has curves, contours and bulges...which may not be for everyone. It took some getting used to and has since been replaced with another MAID. Lots of room for wiring, takes a standard heatsink.

The KA G16 (large) was not to my liking. It was too narrow and had a pronounced backstrap hump. I'm not sure how the "slim" version compares. Good room for wiring and std heatsink (I think)

The Tango-down 416 style grip is ok, but feels very similar (but better) than the stock M4 grip. Wiring gets a bit tight, but regular heatsinks work fine.

Hope that helps.

I felt an M16 with a Magpul grip once, I'll never own an armalite without one from now on.
