Prowin back to regular mechbox problems
A buddy of mine baught a CA m15a4 that had a prowin in stalled in it, then replaced with a standard (I'm assuming CA) mechbox before the sale. The gun is having serious feeding issues. Here's what we got so far.
- Semi-auto feeding is fine all the time - F/A works fine some times, but a lot of times it doesn't feed at all. - Hopup unit/rubber appear to be fine (someone else looked at it) - Different mags used to no avail - If the mags are pushed up EXTREMELY hard, it fires in F/A fine - FPS readings are all over the place (170-340 fps) Now I have yet to take a close look at the gun myself yet, but I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of guns going back to a regular mechbox and having issues? I can see the grinding/filing marks in the magwell and I have a feeling that there are now alignment issues from the prowin installation.

the mech box could be slopping around in the metal body as they have to be modified to fit a pro-win

yea, its got to be those two tabs that get cut out. but after the body pin and grip attached AND the mag latch it should be in the same place.
try a new nozzle, and make sure that the hop up unit is shimmed correctly
