yeah shooting a person on the head with that...well..lets not go there. the slugshot and the 6mm magnum is just custom shells for the Tanaka, you can always use stock shells shooting a few BBs at a time. I'd go with the Tanaka M870 Cassius, the other gas shotguns are unreliable with propane, you'd definately need a shell catcher.

Yeah and I'm definately going for the Tanaka, it just looks amazing. Check out Youtube for multiple reviews and video of its action.

Too bad that when shot it doesn't make a KLA-BOOOM sound :P

Also, Union, I want the Tanaka model and not the Clarence Lai custom version. The shells look too complicated and pricey.

Your best bet for an outdoor shotty and large CQB is the Marushin M500. The build is all metal and the internals are steel. The only weak points on the gun are the pump arms break over time, but can be replaced for $7, and the threads that connect a stock are prone to breaking if tightened to much. If you can get your hands on the M500 6mm, then you'll have the best gun for any CQB. No shells.

Everything I've seen and read about the Tanaka looks impresive, but you still have to deal with the shells. I will eventually get the m870 but my first choice over all is an M500.

Azn— My m500 8mm was recently discontinued at TAC for being too powerful. Hot weather made the propane quite strong last time I was there so Brian and I agreed it was too much of a threat to front teeth He did agree to let me test it out with duster gas, so I may be back with it soon, but gladly not causing the kind of pain it was before.

Yah I hear you The reason it's hard to find is people who own them, love them. You only see one pop up every 6 to 8 months on ASC. You can't complain cause you had your chance to grab an M500 weeks ago and you blew it! hehe.

Cool, I would like to see the Tanaka in person, and the shells before I buy. Get the shell catcher set from UNC made for the Maruzen m870. Why spend 700$ and then slap some ghetto sack on it? lol

I'm not going to go for the M500 simply because as I've mentionned I want it for collecting purpose so the model 870 will do just fine. Azn, thanks alot for the tip about Mark all I need now is a spare 700$. A&A doesn't have one in stock, you know how long it would take for Mark to order it?? Also, I thought that it might be illegal to import shells since they are just like fake bullets aren't they??
