im buyin some, just wanted to know if u guys know from experience a brand that has the brightest glowing bbs and good quality (or if their all pretty much the same)

the glowing bb,s are meant to go with the actual tracer unit that looks like a silencer,,each time a bb passes through a light is emmited to give the bb it's charge of light. g&p makes mags( only seen them in m4 makes) that have a light in the mag to charge up the bb. without the use of either of these items your glowing bb's will do nothing. with the proper attachments the glowing bb's come out to look like muzzle flash. if you have the tracer unit try to find .20 bb's,,the .12's are useless.

dont worry, im not going to shine a flashlight on some bbs in my pocket during middle of a game, lol , i have a marui unit, just referin to brands of bbs

i have seen the marui tracer unit in use with .20 bb's( not sure of brand just make sure theyre .20 ) and from downrange or viewed from the side you would swear it looks like muzzle flash,,has a cool factor rating similiar to grandma's homeade apple pie and ice cream

I've compared Marui, Excel and Straight tracer BBs, and so far, Tokyo Marui BBs are the brightest and longest glowing BBs I've come across. Their sizing is a tad smaller than Straights, but they are much more consistently round and have the smoothest polished surfaces.

I use a tracer unit and I find with both my stock TM MP5 and my upgraded MP7 that the bbs I purchase here in calgary shatter like crazy.... I will say it looks ultra cool when a glowing bb hits a wall and smashes into 15 little glowing peices but it doens't happen with normal bbs and I am using .20s.

Sorry guys I don't recall the name of the glowing bbs I have while at work I will edit this once i get home today.

Does anyone know where to get orange glowin bbs?

the bb's that shatter,glowing or not, are ones that have seams in their design,,they are not precision ground like other makes of higher quality.

Excel makes them. I find that they don't glow too bright, but it's cool seeing a different colour on the field - especially when it almost matches the colour of a real tracer.
