So would you think a 9.6V batt would be too much for this MP5K with m90 prometheus spring?

9.6v is fine. If you have metal bushings in it then you should be fine. The gun will wear down a bit faster, but nothing drastic when compared to 8.4v.It is more or less when you start talking about 10.8v-12v, then you may run into problems.

Why do people even buy those 600mah Sanyo ones now? It seems there's always something better in this game yet people still think it's good to go old fashioned. Intellect cells should be for sale everywhere. Like many other things in airsoft, yo can spend the same amount and get over double what the original offers.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people still bother buying old 600mah NiCd minis. The Intellect cells have more or less resolved the disability of AEGs that can only hold minis.

I think it's the stigma around NiMH. People keep believing these terrible myths...

Yes you did. 'Pat on the back'
Retailers must make a shit load of money off of idiots who buy rip-off things like NiCd batteries, green gas and my personal favourite metal bodies for plastic guns that can be bought for the same price full metal out of the box. |
