well if you take the front sight off of the gun the plate which holds the handguards will have nothing to support it and will twist. You can cut the iron sight at the front off, and or find a crapy one that someone doesnt want anymore and cut that one off so you still have one if you wana go back. You can get a mount that screw into your carry handle at the top. Or you can replace the carry handle all together and get high mounts for your scop that go over your iron sight on your barrel. Best way is keep your iron sights and never ever get rid of them whatever option you opt for. I put a lazer on my M4 and cut the carry handle in the middle since its a rail mounted lazer and drilled my handle a bit at the front and through my iron sight triangle, and whamo lazer and iron sights all tucked away where it cant get hit.
Sorry for the long post Peace! |

you can always get out a dremel and cut the shit out of all your parts, or do things properly and just get the correct parts. get yourself a flip-up front sight and don't "cut" your triangle. disregard the previous post. there are many m4 parts avaialble either through real-steel dealers or airsoft retailers. do some looking either through the gallery here or check some retial sites like wgc, redwolf, or uncompany and find what you like. the front site will have 2 pins holding it in place that you must "drive" out with a punch or allen key or something.
