ICS MARS Komodo Misfire issue
Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my MARS Komodo. The gun appears to be misfiring quite often. It will not fire in full auto, and although sometimes in semi it's fine, but more often than not it won't fire properly in semi either (the video below makes it look like semi is OK, but I think that was dumb luck)
I changed the stock M120 spring for an M90 and used a 7.4v LiPO in order to be at field FPS limits, and right away I had the issues (all test firing on the M120 with 11.1 LiPo seemed to be fine). I switched back to the M120 and 11.1 thinking that maybe for some reason the gun did not like the M90 (I don't really know, still new to Airsoft), but am having the same issues. I was also getting 450-455 FPS with the M120 and now it won't break 400FPS. Am I best to take it to a tech? Any help would be appreciated. Video of issue: https://youtu.be/TU8Dq4579Ec |

From what's in the video, it leads me to believe there's something wrong with your cutoff lever and/or trigger switch.
On full auto, instead of a full pull, try barely pulling it back to where it fires. It should fire on full auto I assume. |

I would take it to a tech. Either mach1 or someone else local can take a look into it for you.

+1 to cutoff lever/trigger switch. I would pop the upper and run the lower gearbox while visually checking for proper actuation as my first step in troubleshooting.
My Komodo had no issues, with velocity, but my DMR had a bit of drop off after the first day of play, seemed like it wasn't lubed as well and needed to be relubed to restore compression from dry seal issues.
