Broken rail

I have an ares m4 and the top rail of the receiver snapped. Where could I get another one?

No it was the rail on the top of the upper receiver just above where the charging handle is

I'll post a picture in the morning

You need to get a new upper receiver, that's about it. Duck tape works too.

Reccomend: new upper receiver

Other option: JB Weld (be careful)

My charging handle prolapsed and I the rail off to fix it but when I went to put it back on it was slightly then it just snapped when I pushed it back into place

Nope; you gotta live with your choices.

But at some point you should remember it's going to keep breaking in weird and hard to fix ways. Kind of an Ares trademark.

Maybe it's one of the ones that takes a ak stick battery above the top rail, under that raised rail?
