VFC Version 3 gearbox question
Hello all,
Does anyone know if VFC uses a proprietary cut off lever or other proprietary internals in their VERSION 3 geabox? I see their 8mm model up for sale right now cheaper than the Lonex or Modify ones and would rather save a few bucks on my build if I can. Please let me know if anyone knows. Thanks for your time all! |

From what I have seen in v3 boxes, for the most part cutoff levers are not proprietary. Yes there will be exceptions, but for the most part, they are not.

I know that VFC v3 box works fine with Modify parts, including gears. I put those in about a year ago for a guy when sector gear shattered in his AK. He also brought Modify piston, spring guide and some other parts for an upgrade.

Just the cut off lever screw. The lever itself is interchangeable, but I picked up a gutted G&G V3 gearbox and no screw from any cut off lever kit fits it. I have no idea how to find out what the threading on it is either since no size of machine screw I've tried works.
