WE-Tech IdZ Future Soldier Retractable Stock for G39 G36 Series

Hi there.
I'm new here, so not entirely too sure this is the right location, but I think it is.
Anyways, I own a JG G36C, but I really really don't like the stock on it (it just doesn't fit me for some reason). I used to have a KA M4 (nylon fibre receiver), but I sold it to a friend and got my JG G36C instead. I really liked the adjustable stock on the M4, but I don't want to buy an adapter and put an M4 stock on my G36C (function over form, but aesthetics are still important ). So I went out and did my research, and found a stock I like, but it's made for a GBB (WE G39) and some reviews state that it's choosy for AEGs (it fits some, but not others). Could somebody who did this modification or knows somebody who did this mod help me out to see if it will fit?
Here's the link on Evike (http://www.evike.com/products/44560/).
Thanks all.
(I know there are some other adjustable stocks made for G36 AEGs, but I don't like the looks of them. The iDZ looks good on the rifle . Now I sent an email to evike asking, but no reply so far. Thanks again.)

Out of all the information I had found on this stock it says that will fit onto other versions of the g36. The information out there does say that it may be a pretty tight fit so it will take some tinkering with it to get it into the bracket but once you get it in you shouldn't have any issues.

I have not tried this myself as I have just ordered mine the other day and have not recieved it yet. I do however wish you luck on finding one. Took me a while to find one here in Canada. Was going to order from evike but they were sold out and wasnt really fond of getting dinged on duties.

Ok, thanks Truckanuck. I think I'll wait till you get yours before ordering mine though, just to make sure. Could you post when you fit yours to your G36 (with pics please)? And where did you order it from? Thanks again.

you need to dremel/file some material of the hinge of the stock... and widen the holes very very slightly for the pin on the stock side. Otherwise it fits.

Great. Ok, I think I'll order one when Evike has them back in stock (I need a new set of BDUs anyways). So I don't have to worry about the latch and just have to widen the holes on the stock, right? And exactly what did you mean when you said to file/dremel the hinge of the stock (same thing as widen the holes)?
Many thanks lurkingknight.

Sorry for the horrendously late reply. I had received the kit and did manage to get installed. The holes on the stock are ever so slightly smaller than the one that came with the G36 and I was able to tap the pin in. As far as taking some material off the hinge, it does fit in the bracket a little tight. Doesnt bother me personally but thats just me, also you will notice that the hinge on the stock is oval compared to the stock that came with the gun. That comebined with the fit in the bracket makes it not swing as freely as the skeleton stock does and I'm assuming the mods lurking mentioned will correct this.

Sorry no pictures I'm at work on my cell. I bought the kit @ airsoftparts.ca and it does look like they have some in stock if you haven't checked there yet already. Will save you getting dinged on duties.

I had to take off material from the stock so that it could clip in straight in my CA G36.

I love the look, but I will admit that the WE kit is a piece of shit. The stock is all plastic and does not have a soft material for your shoulder. The stock adjustments don't feel smooth, and the sights are not adjustable. The rear sight should be able to toggle between large and small peep holes but you can't do that on this WE kit.

yeah the sights are a bit of a letdown but I don't use those sights anyways. The buttpad being rubberized vs not is not a big deal but it'd be nice. Apparently you can get the real steel one for a few hundred bucks if you want to be LEGIT.

Yeah, I just expected a bit more than that for $75.
