Lipo Sizzles on Trigger Pull
Hi guys,
Hope all is well. Recently switched out a spring (went from M100-M110) on my AEG. When I pulled the trigger, nothing happened, but I noticed a bit of a sizzle/crackle coming from the Deans connector. I unplugged immediately. The Lipo didn't swell, thankfully -- though I don't plan on using it again as a precaution. Has any encountered this before? Note that the gun was firing fine before the spring change (though a little slow), and I didn't touch any of the wiring or open the gearbox (it's a quick change spring type). Could it be the motor perhaps not liking the new spring or something of the sort? Thanks for your insights! |

If you pull the trigger and nothing happens and you notice crackling that's a really bad sign.
Is the motor OK? Or is it burned? Is it stock or aftermarket/frankenmotor? |

You have a short somewhere.
Take it apart and diagnose your wiring, you might have a pinched wire.

Pinched wires it was!
Thanks for the heads up lads. Rewired the whole thing with higher gauge and called it a day. Works a beauty now. Cheers. |
