Hop up questions
Hi there, I have searched the threads for a guide on what hop up rubber will give me what kind of results but have come up empty. I'm hoping someone can point me in the direction of a thread concerning which hop up rubber will give me what kind of results, or list it here.
hard vs soft, what kind of nub does what, basically a definitive guide to hop up rubbers. Thank you

I can appreciate a good flaming as much as the next guy. However I was not asking for advice on which hop rubber is better. I am asking for an explanation on How hop rubbers work and What properties of one rubber vs another will give me What for a result. All I know is a harder rubber is meant for a faster gun. Can someone elaborate on that please.

Softer: More grip, more effectiveness. Gives a better airseal too, I believe.
However, if it's too soft, it'll shred from the impact of the BB. That is why harder rubber is recommended for higher FPS, even if it is less effective. |
