we gbbr (m4/416) nozzle spring
So today i was fielding my we 416 OB and the spring in the nozzle (nozzle return spring i spose its called) apparently broke at the nozzle end and got jammed up behind the nozzle in the bolt.
I had to actually remove the hop up unit to get the bolt to go forward enough to even remove the upper. So i figured i could add a new loop on it and put it back but because its so mangled i cant quite get the loop to go into the lil slot to hold onto the pin in the bolt. So is there a suitable replacement spring available for this or do i need to buy a whole nozzle to get a spring from. Also is the a relatively normal failer or is there another problem causing this. Like i have noticed the nozzle sticks a lil in the hop up (as tho the hop is a lil twisted) could this cause premature spring breakage?

I would get a replacement nozzle. It's not wasted as the nozzle breaking is a "normal" thing.
It's random, probably a bad spring though. |

I just looked at a spring that came with a NineBall Dyna Piston head (for HiCapa/1911) and it fits on the WE cylinder bulb. Looks about the same length, dunno about the stiffness but it shouldn't matter if you have an NPAS. So any HiCapa bulb spring should fit.

Thats good to know drake but its actually the spring that goes from the back portion to the bolt itself. (the long ass one that pulls the nozzle back into the bolt when it cycles rearward.
Thanks Kos-Mos. I figured id have to get the whole nozzle and im surprised mine hasent broken yet. Got about 8000 rounds on the stock one so far. Was expecting it to break the first time out braking in the feed lips on all the new mags. Thanks again guys. Ill go pester Jugglez on monday.

They're so cheap that you might as well just get another nozzle. There's always room in the airsoft toolbox for another open bolt nozzle!

I have a spare spring from my old broken nozzle. PM me for details.
