ARES XM110 hardware parts
Anyone know where to get the ambidextrous selector transfer gears for the XM110?
I got one in a trade without theses two little gears, so the right-side selector spins without any effect. I have a set for King Arms, but they gears are too large, and won't fit in there. I don't really want to have it custom machined... |

I think there were a couple contact names in the big dump on Ares thread to order parts from. Have you downloaded the PDF from their site with the exploded veiw?

Yes, part number F70-71-72.
I have just sent an e-mail to ARES, but not sure if it will go anywhere... |

After 2 years of asking they sent me some parts. One item was broken out of the box.
I hope they took my report of their deficiencies to heart.

They emailed one year later, I didn't reply as I don't even want to bother with it.

Try Zshot. They got back to me in a few days. Granted they didn't have a part, but they'll try to get it. You may have to be very persistant if you order from them

If it's too much of a hassle, I will just make it instead... the hardest part will be to find the right gears...

Update:
I received an answer about a month after the e-mail, they said it would be 14$ shipped for the replacement. Took almost an other month, but I got the parts, with a large ARES sticker. |
