WE Open bolt HK416 BROKE! [Revolution Airsoft]
So...
My buddy ordered a gun off of RevolutionAirsoft. The shipping was quite fast. It took around 3 days from ordering to arriving. Thing is, as we were opening up the packaging and right after we got the zip ties off and my buddy lifted the gun, it fell into two pieces. We just looked at each other, and stared at the gun. It literally just fell, no breaking sound, no impact from anything, just two pieces. We've sent a contact form to Revolution Airsoft and we'll see what comes of this. But by golly, WTF! Pics of the break... |

Wow, that is one hell of a sheer break. I had a buddy break his WE M4 in a similar manner, but it wasn't as flush as that... and it was from packing it tight in the trunk of a car.
The gun must have been dropped in transit or at their warehouse. Await the contact email and update us, I am interested to see how this is resolved. |

I notice when carrying my gun in it's packaging that it is very heavy on one side. If the shipping box and the package was mishandled I could see a gun breaking in 2 pretty easy.
The foam packagin isn't enough support alone they should come in a full box not a corrugated lid and foam packaging imo. |

Wow didn't even think they could break like that! There must have been some real force put on that thing to just break so clean like that.

Dropping a gun straight down onto the barrel would put a lot of force on the upper receiver threads. Definitely enough to crack it like this. Since the nozzle looks undamaged, I'd venture to say that's what happened, and not sideways force (like trying to break the gun in half by holding it by the muzzle and stock and putting your knee in the middle...)

Oh and btw Fragile sign....means "Kick me" in parcel surface (this goes to every facility) One thing I learn in working at Parcel service is pack your parcel really well, and have insurance. Insurance claim of >$100 typically is a huge hassle, unless it is clearly destructive damage occur in transit (ie a foot size and shape hole in the middle of package) |

Okay finally got word back from Revolution Airsoft.
They told us to just send back the gun. They didn't mention if they were going to re-send another, but I'm pretty sure that's what they mean... I hope. |
